In class we wait until the text has been read and then take turns with the interactive parts.)

(I didn’t read the entire Lambsongs version because it includes the violent end.  We stressed that the Israelites were God’s favorite people and they LOVED God —and then they would forget about him!  God STILL loved the Israelites though.  God would allow the Israelites’ enemies to conquer them and then the Israelites would remember God and ask for his help.  Judges were chosen by God to help the people.)
