- Say the books of the Old Testament using the flip chart. Note that we will be studying about Job so we will know what that book of the Old Testament is about.
- Note that God was proud of Job. It would be wonderful for God to be proud of us too.
- Sing Fruit of the Spirit song. Identify which of the Fruit Job had. Love? Joy? Peace? Patience? Kindness? Goodness? Faithfulness? Gentleness? Self-Control?
- Talk about Job's wife. When someone is sad or hurting, are we supposed to tell them to give up? A DAD EXPANDED ON THIS by telling his son that Job’s wife was probably sad too. Even if you are sad you are still supposed to be kind to people. When you are hungry or tired, you are still supposed to be kind to people.
