We explained that a helmet protects your brain which is inside your head. Your brain is the size of your two fists together.

Creation, Day 4
God made the lights in the sky on day 4 of creation. He made the sun for the day and the moon and stars for the night. (Genesis 1:14) That means that on day 1, He made the light, but it was not the sun, moon, or stars.
These stars glow in the dark, so we turned out the light. There is a moon or two in there too. We explained that the Earth only has one moon. There is also only one sun. There are so many stars that it is impossible to count them.
We also got out the black light too. The stars were even brighter, and our classroom was transformed too. We got out a mirror so the kids could see their smiles under the black light. So much fun!

I barely got this picture before clean up! |
